Each image is the result of digital interventions on photographs taken in winter as I walk through the woods surrounding my house. Everything is silent there, and in the silence we hear other voices and catch a glimpse of another reality. Photographs taken since 2008 are a starting point for revealing what I call spirits of trees. Chaque image est le résultat d’un travail infographique sur les photos que je fais l’hiver en marchant dans le bois autour de chez moi. Là règne le silence. C’est ce silence qui laisse entendre d’autres voix et entrevoir une autre réalité.
Depuis 2008, mes nombreuses photos me servent de point de départ pour débusquer mes esprits de l’arbre. J’ai imprimé mes images de bien des façons (sérigraphie, lithographie, gravure en creux ou eau forte et infographie) et sur bien des supports.
